All American Girl: Ready Or Not

This is the sequel to the fantastically hilarious book by Meg Cabot, All American Girl. Yet again, the main character is Sam Maddison, and this time round she is feeling fed up!
Sam feels under pressure, because loads of people seem to think she's ready to do stuff...when she isn't!
The President, whose life she saved in the last book, thinks she's ready to introduce his new political idea live on MTV. Susan Boone, her art teacher, thinks she's ready to do life drawing a.k.a drawing naked people! And, scariest for Sam, her boyfriend David (the Presidents son) thinks they're ready to Do It!

The book is, yet again, a hilarious read with brand new characters and lots of old ones too. Meg Cabot writes in a style that won't let you put the book down, and will make you scream with laughter.
Its a great read, especially for all those All American Girl fans (see the review for more info!), and I seriously reccommend the series to any girl who wants and easy read with laughs all round.
It gets the full five stars in my books, and I think its ok for 11+ readers.
Read the 1st book, All American Girl, before though!

  2. I don't like this book, I found it boring. It's a shame, as I loved the first one. Does anybody know any other good Meg Cabot books?
    From Karate Queen x
p.s I've read the princess diaries, so good! I love Micheal!!!

  3. Karate Queen, apparently 'The Mediator' books are good, about a girl who deals with stubborn ghosts! This is very appropriate for Halloween! My sister also tells me that 'Avalon High' was (her actual words) "Excellent". There are LOADS of books by Meg Cabot though, and if they're all like the Princess Diaries then they must rock!
    Hope this helps! :-)
