All American Girl

All American Girl, by Meg Cabot (Princess Diaries, Avalon High), is a great book, mainly due to the funny, chatty style Meg writes it in.
The book stars Sam Maddison, a completley normal American Girl who is the middle child, loves Gwen Stefani and feels her main skill is art. She wears black clothes (which is reagularly gets teased about) and she has a HUGE crush on her sisters boyfriend Jack.
Sam then does something so totally not-normal...she saves the Presidents life by jumping on a physco's back!
In this immensly funny book, read and sympathise how Sam suddenly becomes an American hero, how she is forced into art classes with Susan Boone, how suddenly she goes from zero to hero and how she gets to know David the Presidents son...

This is a FAB-U-LOUS read that I love because it's funny and chatty. You can really feel for Sam, and you just get completley absorbed into her hilarious life.
I really recommend this book to anyone who likes a hilarious, chic-flic style read that will have you laughing along in no time!
This book would be great for a 10+ age group because slighty younger readers may not find the humour so funny, but it would be suitable!
Read and recommend!
