When Zoey is marked by the tracker she knows her old life is over. Now she must go the House of Night, a school for vampires where Zoey will study 'Vampire 101'. She will undergoe changes that, if they fail, will result in her death. Throughout the books you follow Zoey and discover that not everyone is who they say they are and the people you trust the most can be the worst people on the earth.
This is an adrenaline pumping, fast series with the whole dark romance genre. But STOP. They are not like Twilight or Dracula...they are actually REALLY different. The series covers love, thrills, vampires, secrecy and tricks you into thinking stuff that isn't true!
I will say now that the House of Night books are definatley for OLDER READERS and probably at least 11+. Its not as nicey nicey and happy happy as other books but isn't really gory and scary. I would definatley recomend it though for anyone, especially those who think all vampire books nowadays are just Twilight copiers. They're not, and I really think you shoudl give it a go!!!
I prefer the Night World books.

ReplyDeleteI hate vampire books! Why is evryone so obessed by blood sucking leeches? Read Dracula if you want proper vampires!
ReplyDeleteI agree Dracula is a good book, but surely these 'newer' vampire books are good, they are definatley very popular! Try reading some and get to know them!
